Gifts from Japan (Feb. 2022 - April 2022)
An exhibition by the Portland Japanese Garden and The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens. The exhibition tells the horticultural tale of how Japanese plants were introduced to the West. On view at Portland Japanese Garden in conjunction with the annual conference of the American Public Gardens Association in Portland, Oregon (May 13 - July 4, 2022). Assisted in research and writing of labels and wall panel for Flora Japonica section. Learn more here and here.
Akimbo Workshops (Feb. 2020 - May 2021)
Coach, The Podcasting Workshop. Together with fellow coaches and a team of All-Star podcasters, I had the opportunity to introduce people to podcasting and join them on their journey as they turned an idea into a published podcast. I served on the coaching team for three consecutive workshops.

Environmental Education Collaborative 10th Annual Symposium (February 24, 2024)
Joining leaders from environmental education providers in the Inland Empire and Southern California, I shared free resources for educators developed around The Carbon Almanac (Penguin Random House, 2022). In a second breakout session, I presented the story of The Carbon Almanac, how it was produced and shared resources developed for this award-winning book, including the new Spanish translation available for free at TheCarbonAlmanac.org.
